Without development, the toolkit will only remain as a piece of work done in 2007. With development, the toolkit can be a dynamic resource that is beneficial across the European Union. The SusSET partners have the firm hope that either the EU itself or, more likely, a EU Small Town Association adopts the toolkit as their own and commits to developing it to its next stage(s).
