About this Toolkit

Who produced this toolkit?

This toolkit has been produced by all the partners in the SusSET project (i.e. Ellon, Inverurie and Stonehaven from Aberdeenshire, Scotland; Strömstad, Åmål, and Kungälv from the Västra Götaland Region, Sweden; Puck, Lębork and Hel from the Gdansk region, Poland; Pyrgos, Aigion, and Messolonghi from Western Greece - see Participating Towns for further information).

The toolkit provides a model for managing change and is particularly geared towards making Europe’s small towns more sustainable.

The findings and recommendations reflect the experiences of the SusSET participants. The work has mostly been done by people who are responsible for and/or have experience in looking after their towns. This toolkit is therefore a product ‘by practitioners for practitioners’ (together with the benefit of external academic review and evaluation).
